I did not see the vulgar act but it does not surprise me given the M-TV garbage that is a sad part of our perverse culture. I only pray that CBS has to answer to the FCC for this stunt of near porn and that families can enjoy sports as they once were able to do before smut was allowed on to prime time viewers. "God Help us"? this has nothing to do with Porn or R-rated stuff. it was a boob. the average american child will see 30,000 VIOLENT images by the time he is 16. Do you really think a half covered boob will tip him over the edge and turn him into a phsyco? americans are pathetic when it comes to morale values. Guns are ok, nudity is a sin. /back to subject matter Tivo has proven once and for all that sensationalistic programing wins everytime. you show a boob, or two girls kissing (madonna/britney) and you get a huge response, sell more CD's, sell more DVDs and sell more hardware. we'll see more and more of this, and of course, more people will complain and turn a non-issue into a big issue, and it will snowball. get over it america, every second person on the planet has boobies.

I just saw 4 advertisements for porn on my computer in the time I have taken to write this... the world needs to calm down! It's just a booby!!! The Janet/Justin stunt would have been great for the upcoming Grammy's Music Awards to top the Madonna/Brittney stunt, but it was in poor taste for the Super Bowl. I was in a room full of adults and we were all thinking......"was that suppose to happen?", but considering the context of the song that they were singing together, "I want to rip your clothes off after this song", there is no doubt, that it was planned between Janet and Justin. Unfortunately, people are talking about the half time show and not the real performance of the wonderful talented atheletes that made a spectacular Super Bowl. Lets not forget, Houston, Texas, the host city, really rose to the occasion and has set a higher standard for cities that will host the Super Bowl in the future. These are the subjects that we should be discussing, not the prank that Janet and Justin pulled off. It was not an event, for such STUPIDITY!!

I believe that it was a plan gone wrong, that it. I'm sure Janet and Justin know what they are doing and what is expected of them as entertainers, but as all of us are human, they are as well. Mistakes will happen as was the case in the 2004 superbowl halftime show. I do believe there are more important issues than this, and we as a people need to recognize that instead of an unfortunate mishap on stage which in fact really doesn't affect any of us. Leave poor Janet and Justin alone, they are great entertainers. Instead, get on Bush and the US's issues.

This is massive publicity for the superbowl, jackson/timberlake and of course a great stunt for TIVO, most red-blooded males will now be at there local tech stores buying a TIVO so they dont miss out on the next wardrobe malfunction.. :-) we wonder what will be in store for us at the 2004 grammys (this weekend)

i didn't get to see the game, but mostly what i've heard is about the half time show, not what a great game it was. ok, so some people are pissed, some don't care, some liked it, and some are pissed that others are pissed. bringing up all the other problems in the world is not going to help the argument. the point is, it wasn't supposed to happen, not during a family event. i know that most of the shows on primetime are worse, temptation island (HELLO?!!!) but bottom line, it wasn't supposed to happen. though they are sorry, i do think the consequences should be carried out, as they were with the streaker.

I have a hard time understanding why this is such a big deal for people. On any Tuesday you can turn on NYPD blue and see the side of a breast or someones a**. Please if this was the worst thing that had ever happened then we would be pretty darn lucky. I think everyone should just move on with their life and try to focus on the things that really matter! I think that there has been too much conflict for this performance! Janet is a truley gifted and beautiful woman, as well as her brother, Michael.
