Where Is Windows XP's Administrator Account?

Greetings,

As Windows XP makes serious inroads into the home and small office/home office (SOHO) market, frustrated power users are asking me a lot of questions. The most common question is "What happened to the Administrator account?"

Two situations typically give rise to this question. The first is when someone running XP tries to install a legacy Windows 2000 or Windows NT application that will install or run only under the Administrator account. The second situation occurs when someone configures a home computer to allow limited access by children or other family members and wants to maintain full access for only the Administrator account.

If you're using XP Home Edition and want to maintain an Administrator account, you might have a big problem. In that OS, the Administrator account is available only when the computer runs in Safe Mode; you can't create an Administrator account that's available in any typical mode of system operation. This limited availability hinders the Administrator account's effectiveness in managing the computer.

If you're running XP Professional Edition, you can easily gain access to the Administrator account if you give up XP's Fast User Switching capability and use the classic Win2K-style logon screen, which isn't available while Fast User Switching is activated. To access the classic logon screen, go to the User Accounts application in the Control Panel. From the "Pick a task" list, click "Change the way users log on or off." Clear the "Use the Welcome screen" check box (this action automatically disables Fast User Switching as well) and click the Apply Options button. Then, log on to the system using the classic logon screen, and you'll be able to enter any account name you want to. When you open the User Accounts applet in the Control Panel, you'll see that the Administrator account is now visible.

If you've been using XP Pro in a domain, Fast User Switching is probably new to you; when an XP machine joins a domain, it loses the ability to use Fast User Switching because the domain logon requires the classic logon interface.

In most cases, I don't think you lose much functionality by disabling Fast User Switching. I've yet to hear from anyone who wanted to be able to keep their applications running in the background while someone else used their computer, which is what Fast User Switching lets you do. I'm sure situations exist in which Fast User Switching has value, but I've been using XP daily for almost a year, and I've never felt the need to use Fast User Switching.

Download the Windows XP powertoys from Microsoft's site. The program contained within, TweakUI, let's you add the administrator to the XP Welcome Screen with the other users' icons.

Ross Blocher -April 10, 2002

On the contrary, I find using fast user switching a blessing in a family environment. We typically are sharing the computer, and a family member wants to check email, and I just switch users, and my work stays in place while they are doing their thing. I think it's great, I just lose the administrator's logon. I was wondering where administrator went to!

Kirk Reed -April 12, 2002

if you hit ctrl alt del twice on the welcome screen you can access your administrator account without dissabling fast user switching

If you really want to login into as administrator, you will have to restart the computer then you must to press F8 and selecting the SAFE MODE then you press the enter. It is all to do!

SAH -April 1, 2004

You make goods comments but who can help me ? I'm lost in this : the XP help menu says it's impossible but I did desactivate by mistake both administrator accounts!!! Which means I'm not able to reactivate them because each time I got the logical answers telling me that, either I've not the right to reactivate from a user account (normal) or I can't access the administrator account because it's been desactivated !! Who knows another mean to make it ? Thanks a lot.

Christian -April 2, 2004

geek is right....just hit CTRL ALT DEL twice and you'll get the classic WIN2K style logon screen without compromising the fast user switching.

moises -April 7, 2004

Hi There,

Can we rename the Administrator Account in XP Home Edition? Is there anyway i can Logon as Administrator in Normal mode?? Please Advise.....

Thanks in Advance Srinix

Srinivas -May 31, 2004

It seems like this issue would be a prime candidate for someone to have come up with some kind of registry hack to enable logging in as administrator. Has anyone heard of such a hack?

this one is nice.

sanjay -August 25, 2004

my computer seems to have an administrator password on it that i never knew about. Normally, my computer boots up only showing a single account, mine. when I boot into safe mode the are two accounts, mine and administrator. when i try to log into the admin account it asks for a password, which i never set. Is the anything I can do?

jmsbizzy -September 17, 2004

Hi, have a prob with windows xp home edition, with sp1, never had this problem until a few days ago, cant press ctrl+alt+del anymore and what shows up is that its saying i'm not the administrator and yet i am logged in as one...can someone help?

nadia -September 24, 2004

Regarding jmsbizzy's question.....My XP was built by a local shop. I keep seeing Compwiz in places and wondered why. The builder said he sets it up as administrator so he can go in and help his customers when they mess up or for get their passwords...or end up with a password accidently. Wonder if this is the same scenerio?

ALM -October 19, 2004

many computers that come with XP pre-installed have an administrator account set up so that only the vendor can access it. they do this in case their customers ask for technical support (or perhaps make a little money on the side :p ). if you installed windows XP, the admin accound probably has no password, so you just leave the password field blank and you have the access.

Carln -November 11, 2004

Could not login into XP Home Administrator Account in Safe Mode any more. Eventhough I am pretty sure about the password that I have created and used, there might be some corruption in the password file. I could use the Owner account to create another Admin account but not with user name 'Administrator' even after deleting the Administator related documents from Documents and Settings directory tree. Even when I logged in safe mode, I cannot find the Administrator, this is before deleting the files, under User Accounts. What could be the problem ?

I create a new admin account by mistake. Now the profle on my old admin account is gone. How can I go back to my old admin account. I am working with an XP. Can someone help??

henry -January 9, 2005

Comment on remarks made by jmsbizzy on September 17, 2004: I just encountered the same situation that you describe. I was able to log on to the Adminstrator account using the password of my other account (which also has Administrator priviledges). I am using WinXP Professional. The sp2 patch was applied through windowsupdate after installing the OS.

Dear friends I have Win XP pro...Each time i turn pc off and turn it on again, pc automatically boots into administrator acccount. I dont know why that happens and I want it to show options of other user accounts that i have set up with their respective passwords. But instead of giving me option of that, it straight boots into administrators account. How can i fix this?

joe -February 14, 2005

To reset the administrator account: Click on "start", click on "run" type "compmgmt.msc" and click "OK". In the "Computer Management" window on the left, click on "Local Users and Groups", then click on "Users". Next, "right-click" on the "Administrator" account and select "Set Password..."

To disable windows from automatically booting in to an account, do the following: from the start menu, run regedit.exe and go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\" change the value of "AutoAdminLogon" from "1" (the number one) to "0" (the number zero). You can also temporally bypass the auto logon on startup by holding down the shift key once the GUI starts to load (but before the user is automatically logged on); the startup process will then stop at the "classic logon prompt" and ask you to login. Changing the following registry value: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\DisableCAD" from 1 to 0 will require the user to press "Ctrl+Alt+Del" at the "classic logon prompt" to logon to the system.

I would like to install my Brother(MFC420CN) printer, fax, scanner, photo, etc. I'm running XP Home Office. The manuel says I must logon as administrator to download driver software and to complete printer setup. Can this be done under any user account? Please someone help. Tks.

cisco -March 21, 2005

Alt-ctrl-delete or disabling the welcome screen works well. Just a note that the default Administrator password is 'null' just don't enter anything.

Stephen -March 25, 2005

I changed my administrator password and seem to have misplaced the correct password. Is there any way to still get into the administrator account? If so, how? Thanks.

matt -March 30, 2005

This is yet another good idea gone bad in typical Microsoft fashion. The idea was to disable Admin account use so the average home user would not click on a wayward link in an e-mail message and corrupt the computer. Without the Admin privileges the amount of damage virus could inflict on a computer is limited.

But they have made this "feature" so hard to turn off that people function under the false sense of security that iut is impossible to have the admin account function during normal mode. Someone is going to create an exploit and do a whole lot of damage. There appears to be so little thinking going on in Redmond these days.

yes please tell me hoe i can delet thisadministrator privileges from my computer ,i can not defg my computer because it tell me i do not have privleges i did befor i do not want a password .i want to run my computer not get priv from administrator . thank you it has been like this a few days now i an sick of this ever since i asked for account and password .

I Need HELP I added an administrator account to my PC and when I turned it off and rebooted later it only had the 2nd admin account and my admin account the 1st one was no longer in the user accounts. Please someone tell Is it at all possible to retrieve those files at and bring back the original admin account???

Alicia -April 20, 2005

In XP Home edition, the easiest way to set password for accounts is by using the "net user" command. Just open a command prompt window by Pressing Start, then Run, type: cmd and Enter. Type: net user /? and Enter and you will see the syntex of this command.

Typing: net user and you will see what accounts are set up on your machine.

If the account you are currently logged into is part of administrator group, then you can reset the passwords on each of the accounts on your machine using this "net user" command and its proper syntax:

net user username password

and Enter

I am SO confused!! I have xp home, I had my computer setup so my 10 year and 6 year old grandkids could play games on cartoon network, nick.com. My problems started when my stepdaughter started using my computer to download songs because I have DSL, I have EZ Armor antivirus and firewall that I beleave is a great software.(it found and treated 2 virus's when first installed) Anyway, I did not find out that my stepdaughter had been using my computer until she hit a a download that wound up having 3 virus's that my software stoped. What I tried doing was to create a second logon account for the kids. When I did this is when I think I somehow lost the administrator rights. When I deleted the spyware that I had through SBC yahoo and tried to reinstall it a message comes up saying I must be the administrator to do so, even though I am logged on under that account. When I tried to log on to the user accounts on my computer a small user account window pops up that says "WRONG NUMBER OF ARGUMENTS OR INVALID PROPERTY ASSIGNMENT". I might add that while I was trying to get my computer working properly again,(The pictures on some web pages would not show, just a blank box with a little box in the top left corner)a small window poped up and recommended a scan from "WinFix". It looked like a recommendation from windows at the top of the box so I ended up purchasing this software (39.95) and it supposidly repaired or deleted a bunch of files on the computer. I don't know if it caused the addministrator logon problems or not for sure but it seems like I started having more problems after it ran. I called WinFix support and they had me send them all the info on my computer but they said I needed to resend the info again. ??? I have removed it from my computer. I also tried to use the windows restore but all I get is a blank page also. I can get on line and do just aboat all that I need to do still but I am worried because I don't have control over my addministrator account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mike -November 16, 2005

Mike - i am experiencing the same issues with a client. when he accesses his email account over the internet he is unable to write in his emails, when he either creates a new email or replys. The email is blue with a white box in the top left corner with a red cross through it. On web sites photos, advertisements and flash doesnt rarly some up either. He also had this "Winfix" pop up and paid for it but it didnt fix a thing. Going into the user account gives the same result as you "WRONG NUMBER OF ARGUMENTS OR INVALID PROPERTY ASSIGNMENT". I have tried upgrading to the latest versions of everything. The only thing i can think of is to upgrade to XP Professional. Has any one else got any ideas?

The best way to 'Hack' passwords is to edit the registry directly.

This can be done by using EBCD emergency boot up disk which can be found online.

If you google emergency boot CD then you will find t. It works on Linux Technology. You start your PC with th CD in and boot to it, then it will offer the option of editing passwords without having to be logged in as an administrator.

As A mediocre Computer user with Kids that were spending too much time on the computer downloading off the net adding games and generaly bogging the computer down I decided to make some access changes to the accounts. That was 6 months ago and silly me thought I'd remember what I did. Wrong! Now I have two user accounts with no admin ability and an admin account that I have no idea what the password is, or even if I have the correct account name! Yikes! I tried the "back door" when reloading windows to access the user account list....but that didn't work, and worst now that I "repaired" windows XP it needs the admin password to accept changes and now I'm in a perminent log in loop. ARRRGgghhhhh! Is there any hope or will i be reformating?

Normally, my computer boots up only showing a single account, mine. when I boot into safe mode the are two accounts, mine and administrator. when i try to log into the admin account it asks for a password, which i never set. This answer can answer most of your problems in this webpage. How to make an Administrator Account using a limited account such as Guest: 1.Open the command prompt by clicking start and then run. Type "cmd" in the run box. 2.Type "at" in the command prompt. If it says it is not found, sorry, you're out of luck. 3.If it responds with There are no entries in the list, or anything other than not found, continue. 4.Type the following in this syntax: at (time after 1 min of current time) /interactive cmd.exe For Example, now is 10:52 PM in the system clock. You would type "at 10:53pm /interactive cmd.exe" 5.Wait for 1 minute for another command prompt to pop up. Close the 1st command prompt now. 6.Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and go to the Task Manager. End the process named Explorer.exe DON"T PANIC! The taskbar and desktop will disappear. 7.Type explorer.exe in the 2nd command prompt. The taskbar and desktop will appear again. Now you are logged in as SYSTEM! You now have even more rights than a Administrator. Go to user accounts and make an administrator or change the password of the current one. Now you can even end SYSTEM processes! You are now in control of the whole computer. I hope this helps!

I am the administrator for my Windows XP and I know my password well. However my recently installed Norton Internet Security suite 2006 does not recognise me as administrator and I think I typed in my e mail address instead of my Windows XP user name. My password is ok though, but Norton will not allow me to change my settings, neither will it let me uninstall so I can start again. Can you help ? Please ?

Download the Windows XP powertoys from Microsoft's site. The program contained within, TweakUI, let's you add the administrator to the XP Welcome Screen with the other users' icons.

Christian -April 2, 2004

geek is right....just hit CTRL ALT DEL twice and you'll get the classic WIN2K style logon screen without compromising the fast user switching.

nadia -September 24, 2004

I have the same problem...

I am at university and the whooe server has been blasted over the past week with this new bagel virus.

Now i cant access my administrator account and im getting the wrong number of arguments message.

When I restarted the computer, not only did it not recognise my new screenname, it did not do so for any of the old screennames. What should I do?

He refuses to go 4 classes, & still downloads bullcrap, w/o checking for viruses??? Any Help would be glady great. Thanxs

I have tried Alt Control Delete and typed in several things but to no avail. I finally reloaded WindowsXP Home, since I cannot locate my WinXP Pro, side by side.

Everyone has been posting requests on this page for password cracks and NO ONE has listed any fixes!!!

Well, I guess I'll be the first. Check out this page for not just tools, but also the instructions for cracking or removing the admin password in XP.

OH MY GOD thanks goodness for this thread. Using a mixture of these posts I have been able to solve my problem. Here it is in case anyone is in the same boat. I wanted to connect one computer to the other and had to make an extra user account. I gave it Admin permissions. The next time I logged on to the main machine the Administrator user account I normally use had diiappearead and only the new one remiained. So from information from above, I logged in in safe mode, adn could see the Administrator account. It was showing because Fast User Switching capability was set to on. If thats not the case in yuor situation then log in with any account you can, go to users in teh control panel and set it to on. Then reboot again in safe mode adn locate the origianl admin ueraccount adn log in. Then add or change your password, AND set Fast User Switching capability to OFF, so that you get the boot username / password dialog box. The log in with Administrator / and your password. Then everytihgn is back to normall. Was for me anyway, f***ing windows, why is it so upredictable and clumsy when so much money has been spent on it.

Graham Vincent -April 14, 2007

Well just to be different from everyone else who's all asking practically the same question( The answers are there if you read the thread) My son has deleted the Administrators account. It's gone. Now I've tried all of the above, and none of it works, either access is denied, or I need to to have specific priviledges.. or in the case of the "Local Users and Groups", then click on "Users" blah, blah, it doesn't exist to click on. It's not in user accounts, it's not in safe mode.. nothing,oh yeah and forget that whole "hit ctrl alt del twice" thing, cause it ain't happening.Even did a standard search, and there are no files to show Administrator. Needless to say can't do sod all on it, including downloading "quick fix" software, cause were not allowed without the Admin priviledges. All my son gets is the log on screen with his name & you can't get in without his password.

So anyone know how to easily re install the Administrator Account on XP home edition. BIG PLEASE,cause I'm buggered if I can find anything bar hacking passwords & really complicated techy stuff.

Any help from someone in the know would be extremely grateful.

I'm sorry to inform everyone who intends on bypassing limited Administrative Access that, if you think it will be a "click this, click that" deal, you are horribly wrong and are in for a nasty suprise. My recommendations are to read up on CMD functions, learn the basics of creating efficient batch files, become familiar with hexadecimal code, and spend a good week or two studying the archiac programming language of "Assembly." With these things, you will be on your way to being able to call yourself a hacker. Unfortunately, even with all these things, you are still a long way from being able to read the millions upon millions of lines of coding that makes up the Windows XP Operating Software. Spend a year or two on it, hack through school servers and small buisness computers (but don't do anything mallicious! Remember, if they're stupid enough to leave their computers unprotected, have pity on them and spare them the trouble of calling mediocre and price gauging computer technicians like those at GeekSquad) and then maybe one day, long after Windows XP has been dropped entirely for a newer, better version of Vista, or maybe an entirely different version of Windows, you might be one of the few to finally break through the barriers of Administrative Opression and edit what you wish, when you wish it!

Or you could skip all of that and boot up your pc with a Force Boot CD. However, this also takes a certain amount intelligence (albeit, much less intelligence than my previous solution), and very few of you have yet to display the posession of IQ scores higher than 10. My suggestion to those too "mentally challenged" to boot from a CD is to simply stop caring. Technology is much too complicated for you.

Folks, this is getting pathetic. Obviously, each person that finds this site only has questions and yet the newest people to view the site keep posting the same old questions. If you just read the entire site prior to posting, it would become obvious that no one here has the answers you seek.

NEXT ISSUE: stop misspelling and using abbreviations in your notes. This only illustrates that you cannot speak or write well. It is no surprise that everyone has simple problems when they cannot even communicate or recognize that all of the visitors of this thread are without any answers. CAUTION: a few references to hacking sites tend to be ones that would only further infect your computer. If someone cannot spell; what is the likelihood that they would have any legitimate answers for you.

SUGGESTION: prior to typing your story that is basically identical to everyone else's; actually read the entire threat first to see that you are one of the millions of people screwed over by Microsoft products and that few people have the sollution you seek.

Hello Folks! Here are few answers to the common questions? That are usually asked by the lay users Q1: I can’t install any thing on my Windows Xp computer. It asks for Administrator rights? A1: Well there is no way that you can install any program without Admin rights. So stop posting this dim-witted question because it has a very complicated answer. Just try this simple method it may work if it is your lucky day. Right click on the application that you want to run > Select Run As > A dialogue box will popup > Select the Administrator option and click OK. Well if it works then cheer up other wise a hammer would be useful?. Q2: I have lost my Administrator password. How can I gain access to my Admin Account? A2: Hahahahahaha! Nice Joke. How the hell can you forget you administrator password. You must be cheating or you are the most dumb, lol, dopey, jerk, dim-witted and lummox person or___? (Request: Please assist me by placing some more synonyms here) Well this query has multiple answers here we go 1) First of all make system restore point in case of any malfunction to the Windows Xp Pro or Home. Then 2) Download the tool name “Ophcrack” from sourceforge.net size =3.3 MB V2.4.1 Then follow the program instruction if you can’t install the Program then download the zip file not the Setup.exe file. Zip file contains the Ophcrack.exe run this and then use your own brain. This is very useful tool. Use it with care. 3) Note: This is the most effective method of changing the Administrator Password. So please use it with extreme caution. Download the file winpasscrack.exe from the net. Use google to find this file. This is the old DOS mode program which is very powerful. Now you have to burn this to you CD or Floppy Disk. After this simply reboot you computer and Boot system again from CD or Floppy Disk.( I believe at least you all know this)Then go to either Floppy disk or CD drive accordingly and run the exe file by typing For instance (A:/ winpasscrack.exe) now you will see a filthy black and blue screen. There you would find the option Change the Administrator Password. Select this option and you are on the fly the program will search for the current password and then it will demonstrate the change password screen. Simply change the password (that you can remember) and click Ok. What next? The screen will go blank. No again reboot your system by clicking Alt+Ctrl+delete key and change the first boot order to hard disk again. After these entire damn steps you are finally victorious. Log into the windows open your mail account and write me a thank you mail. Please note that Windows Xp and further OS stores the user and admin password in the .SAM file which is highly critical to pin with. So be careful if you are playing with this file.

Hope this answers you damn and pathetic questions.

Further Question may be asked by email. I will definitely try to sole you quandary. Please be patient because it takes 7 working days to reply to the recipient. Because I only work on Monday ahaha just kidding.Email address Problemsolver@elitemail.org

This morning when I turned on my PC, the only account that came up was the 'limited access account', and not our other two accounts, both of which were the computer's administrative accounts.

When I use the Ctrl+Alt+Delete, to try to access my administrator account as suggested, an error message pops up, stating that the account has been disable and that I should contact the computer administrator.

What do I do to access my administrator account?

So, plz tell me the processor to break window xp addministrator password. And i have no other user account in computer system...

Hitesh Goyal -October 7, 2008

Hello, Folks “The Problem Solver” is back to elucidate your stodgy and pathetic queries. Ok lets hit the main point

(1) In most cases the Administrator account that one is using in Windows Xp is not actually an Admin account. It is a sub-set of an Admin account to put it into simple words it is basically Secondary Admin account with unlimited rights. For Instance: My account name is Problem Solver and I’m admin of my system but actually I’m not the First Admin I’m the secondary Admin. The real admin account is always hidden and it can be recalled by starting Win Xp in safe mode. When u start your Win Xp in safe mode only the Original Admin account will be demonstrated and rest of the accounts will be disabled.<<<< Procedure>>> To do this follow my footsteps reboot you system and press F8 key, just before the Windows Xp boot screen. From there select the option “Start Windows in Safe Mode” and hit the Enter key. Now wait for the windows jolts and its file selection criteria… after all this Gnostic drama by Windows u will finally see the light of hope in the form of an Admin Account. Wooohoo! This account in most of the cases is blank password account just log into this account and have fun.

NOTE: In safe mode windows will disable the colour driver and other GUI features so you will only be able to work in the filthy colour environment. Mostly it is (640x480 resolution and 16 or 256 colors) resolution. But it is not nail biting situation on the next reboot it will open normally.

IMPERATIVE: If you are using a Domain account on shared network then you have to manually type the Administrator in the user name text box on the Log in Dialog Box. Or contrary you will log in to the same account that you are already using.

CAUTION: This information is intended for troubleshooting purpose and it shouldn’t be used for malicious intentions. There is also a way to break into the Password Protected account. But it is not explained here. Further more you can also create another Secondary Admin account for this account. To do this go to Start > Control Panel > Users Accounts and then create another account with Administrator rights and ffs remember the password this time. And in the end get out of the seventh heaven and Thanks Me and Microsoft for this bug.. ?

Further queries will be entertained through email. But please don’t send spam mail or else… Yikes i just threat! Email: problemsolver@elitemail.org. Kindly note that I’ll not reply to the queries regarding password breaking or this kinda stuff so only ask technical questions rather than stupid ones.

"To reset the administrator account: Click on "start", click on "run" type "compmgmt.msc" and click "OK".

On the computer management page there was no listing for "Local users and groups". the listings area; (1) System tools (2) Event viewer (3) Shared folders (4) Performance logs and alerts (5) Device Manager (6) Storage (7) Removable storage (8) Disk defragmenter (9) Disk Management (10) Service and applications When I clicked on some of these folders I got a message explaining "You do not have sufficient security privilege to install and uninstall these programs".

I am very confused, not unusual when problem with computer as I just want to use it, not understand it. I read recently to establish a user account separate from the administrator account then malware can't get in and change settings or other viscous things. this sounded good so was starting to do that when found a section on my computer in account changes about disabling something messenger. It sounded like a good way to enhance security and i think was written by windows (could be by compact), and so went online to hunt administrator tools to find steps to do that. Can't find administrator tools. Search/help had this site as 1 listed. So now I am confused about both issues. I have XP home, have not yet tried moving administrator to an account other than one i generally use. Suggestions?

help! Thanks

For recovery of all passwords do a search for OPHcrack, and download a copy of the .iso image of the livecd. This will allow you to boot to linux and will run for a while, at the end giving you all known passwords for all accounts.

ceownpc2.com -October 28, 2009

My we have a plethora of posts, well just to introduce my issue is that..... Some how we got the rougue* virus "Antivirus Pro". Which is in the Antivirus trigger family. (For those who are not advanced in technology.) I do know how to remove it, but it requires an administrator account. Normally this would not be a problem that requires me to scratch my head. But unfortunaltly things never go conveniently for anyone. You see my sister knows the administrator account password while I do not. Of course you are now thinking "Go ask her you (insert insulting word/words here)." Hate to break it to you it is a bit more complicated than that she is in Europe and is not contactable for a long while. I would prefer not to wait because I need that malware off so I can do my projects. So if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to change the password because then my sister would not be able to get on when she comes back. Because I will be going to a diffrent country before she comes back and will not be contactable. I do not want to download any programs or software (How should I know if they have even more viruses?) I would prefer not to mess with my computer too much with the coding. And I do not want to hire a professional to come to my house and get it off if I am perfectly capeable omit the fact that I can not bypass one little password.

Hello Holy, you do have more than a virus probleme here. I normaly like to help but on top of your virus problem YOU have a probleme. You are asking us to help but you do not want to do anything. No download, no password change, don't want to pay anything. What do you want us to do. Don't download anything, don't change anything, don't pay anybody at home and keep your virus. Oh buy the way, who know's maybe this helpfull website you are looking at and posting on .... who know's maybe do have a bunch of virus. If I was you, I would just switch off that PC and go back to plain old Paper, enveloppe a Mail. I know I just lost some of my time but hope it's will serve as an example for others. Sorry to be that rude but it's just too anoying.

I also have nothing in my search box 0 nothing to fill in, it is blank, I might have deleted my internet explorer by mistake?
